And now think of not having to pay a ridiculous amount for this trip. Many tours companies can’t offer custom trips to small groups, because they have a 10-12 customer minimum to run tours. Since Roads Less Traveled caters to small groups, we can work with you to create your ideal perfect tour and still make it affordable.

Custom tours can start and end in any destination within Slovenia, Croatia or Bosnia and they can last however long you choose. They can be run anytime of the year as long as they don’t coincide with regularly scheduled group tours. Custom tours need a minimum of 3 people with a maximum of 6, although up to 10 people is a possibility depending on the itinerary.

Custom tours are ideal for many reasons:

• Allows you to go at your speed: have longer stays at fewer destinations, and to get know people and way of life better, or be more on the move and pack in many sights and cities (hey, you can sleep when you get back home).
• Allows you to pick the activities that best suit your interests, whether it’s wine & food or outdoor sports on a daily basis, there’s plenty to choose from. For those looking to trace their Slovenian roots, we can put together a genealogy tour which combines places of family heritage with the regular tourist highlights.
• Allows you to choose destinations not offered on our set tours like some of Croatia’s hidden islands or the untouched nature of Montenegro and Bosnia.

Pricing: Choosing a customized tour doesn’t necessarily mean spending more than opting for a fixed date tour. Price ultimately depends on length of tour, how many people are in the group and what extra activities you want included.
