RESTRICTIONS
Due to the nature of small group tours, the limit is one suitcase [9 x 22 x 14] and one personal bag. Any bags over this will have to be carried in your lap. Sorry, there just isn’t much extra room in our vans and cars. No child under 5 years old. Children between the ages of 5-17 must be accompanied by a parent or adult supervisor. Discounts are available for children between the ages of 5- 12, please inquire. If you don’t enjoy talking and socializing with other travelers, I would suggest against taking this tour.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations for any reason on Roads Less Traveled’s end will be refunded 100%,
including deposit. We will not be responsible for travelers’ airfare refunds (please see Travel Insurance section).
TRAVEL INSURANCE & CANCELLATION
Roads Less Traveled strongly encourages guests to look into purchasing trip cancellation and
interruption insurance in order to save the costly expense of canceling their trip in the event of an unforeseen emergency. We recommend you check with your medical insurance provider and be aware of your medical benefits and coverage while traveling. Ask your travel agent for more information.
CHANGES TO ITINERARY
We will take every measure to ensure the accuracy of itineraries, however, circumstances beyond our control may necessitate changes to tour content. In case of severe weather on days where we have outdoor activities planned, we will try to provide an inside alternative if possible.
PHYSICAL CONDITIONS
All outdoor activities are easy to moderate hikes and walks. Many of the places we visit will have castles or other sights that require walking up 150+ flights of stairs. Outdoor activities on some tours include mountain biking, rafting and kayaking - those are all optional activities. Please let us know in advance if you have health problems.
VISAS
Americans, Canadians and citizens of the EU do not need visas for Slovenia, Croatia or Bosnia. If you are a citizen of another country, please notify us to see if you will be required to have a visa. All travel on our tours requires a valid passport.
